I want to live in the 87th Precinct!
Ed McBain has a wonderful series of police mystery books, all set in the fictitious 87th Precinct. There are over 50 books in this series and duPont Library has them all! Steve Carella, Meyer Meyer, and other policeman solve homicides in the city of Isola. The Deaf Man is a recurring figure in the mysteries who loves to leave clues for Detectives to solve.
